Wilkar Productions started video production work in 1992, after spending a decade gaining valuable photographic experience covering special events. We are classified as a boutique Video Production company, because of our size and personal “Hands-On” approach, specialising in the “Special Event” side of the video industry. This includes, but not limited to; sporting events, theatrical concerts, weddings and some corporate work.

Keeping up with the latest technology is of the utmost importance in this industry, and as such we now shoot with some of the latest High Definition Wide Screen HDV Digital Cameras. This provides the best quality footage possible under all conditions. Of course capturing the footage is only half the story, utalising the latest in digital technology and computers to edit and output a program is vital in producing quality work.

Attention to detail comes as second nature to us, from scouting locations prior to the event to attending rehearsals to get a better feel of the production are all part of the service at Wilkar Productions. Time spent on pre production is always vital to a polished product, which is why we always go the extra mile to provide that little bit extra.

The involvement with an industry association is an important asset to any business; as such we are an Accredited Member of the Australian Video Producers Association, the AVPA. At present Mr. William Spry is the current President of this association after spending a number of years on the Committee. Involvement with such an association allows any Producer to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and issues of the industry. As well as adhering to a professional code of conduct.
